Lead a team

Do you have a passion for children’s rights? A thirst for travel?
The ability to motivate, innovate and inspire yourself as well as others?

We have the perfect role for you!

Here at Childreach, we know that young people are powerful agents of change, and we’re looking for you to step up and take the lead to champion children’s rights and help us deliver that change to communities around the world. We want to empower and protect the rights of even more children over the next year and to do that we need YOUR help!

We are looking for awesome volunteers across the country, who can lead, motivate and inspire others to take on life-changing experiences in support of our life-changing projects across the world! Not only will you be welcomed into our Global Childreach Family - you’ll also be joining the largest and longest established student fundraising team in the U.K.

Are you ready to step up and lead a team of volunteers on an incredible challenge experience in summer 2018?

You’ll kick start your team leader journey with full training to fully prepare you for your role before you then get stuck in to life on campus, recruiting and building your team and helping to support them with their fundraising. Leading a team is about going the extra mile for Childreach and our amazing projects around the world - not only will you have the time of your life by doing so, but you will also further develop your leadership and teamwork skills. We’ll work with you closely throughout the year to help you effectively utilise these skills and more to ensure that you stand out from the crowd to future employers!

Why Become a Leader?

  • Reduced fundraising target - After supporting your team through their fundraising throughout the year and helping them reach their first target, you’ll be rewarded for your hard work with a reduction in your fundraising target! In addition, you will also have our special rate Team leader registration fee!
  • Enhancing your employability - As a Leader, you will have the opportunity to get involved with employability sessions, cv workshops and develop other skills that will really make you stand out in the graduate job market such as public speaking, volunteer management, and leadership!
  • Further opportunities with Childreach - You'll be at the forefront of Childreach International, learning about issues such as child trafficking, child rights and education, as well as hearing about the challenges faced by the children we work with. We offer a number of unique opportunities and networking events throughout the year.
