My School My Voice is an education programme that offers schools throughout the UK assemblies, creative workshops and the opportunity to establish a global link with a school overseas. We strongly believe in educating children and young people on the social issues affecting themselves and their peers around the world. Our projects cover a wide range of themes from the Right to Education to Tanzanian folktales with the aim of fostering respect and understanding between children from different backgrounds. My School My Voice encourages our young generation to take a look at the world around them, understand their place within it and take action!

My Schools My Voice's mission

Educate

We believe children are never too young to start exploring the reality of the world around them. Taking part in the My School My Voice will enable your school to help your pupils achieve global awareness through a combination of interactive assemblies and workshops based on our expertise, a database of resources for teachers to use in their classroom and a wealth of visuals to give children a real insight.

connect
We believe the best way to educate children about the world is by introducing them to their peers in other nations. As part of My School My Voice your pupils will be able to exchange ideas, projects and culture. The nature of our school links is unique in that we bring in schools that are predominantly omitted in other school twinning programmes due to their lack of communication technology. However we focus on these schools as they offer a valuable lesson into the major issues present in today’s global society.

act
We believe that children should play an active role in development both here and abroad. My School My Voice empowers children to play an integral part in the work we do through fundraising. More importantly they can witness the direct impact their efforts have on the communities we work with as they will be fundraising for a particular project.
