Childreach International hosts a Bollywood theme Valentine ball in Camden to raise money for children worldwide

Childreach International is a UK based international development charity that helps children to unlock their full potential in the developing world.  To celebrate the opening of three offices in India Pakistan and Nepal, the charity held a Valentine fundraising ball on Saturday 13th February from 7pm to midnight at the Camden Centre, London.

The charity works directly with communities striving for positive change.  By working hand in hand with children and their families the charity provides sustainable solutions, leading to self sufficiency.

The ball had a Bollywood theme with Indian cuisine; highlights of the evening included Bollywood dancers, belly dancers, henna artists, a 2 course Indian meal and DJ entertainment. There was also a raffle prize draw on the night with a chance to win a trip for two to the Himalayan foothills, Nepal.

Support for the Fundraising Ball helped raise vital funding for sustainable development projects in Tanzania, Ghana, India, Nepal and Pakistan, which provide children with the means to help themselves out of poverty and look forward to a brighter future.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the night raised thousands of pounds for our projects and programmes, giving children worldwide the opportunity to unlock their full potential.”

Childreach International is an international development organisation established in 2003 becoming a registered charity in 2004.  Its aim is provide sustainable solutions to help disadvantaged communities pull themselves out of poverty.  Childreach International works with children and their communities to provide basic education and healthcare infrastructures which are currently absent.  In doing so, Childreach International aims to empower children through education, and support them with vital healthcare.  Childreach International operates in Tanzania, Ghana, India, Nepal and Pakistan, working with project partners to implement sustainable development programmes, providing children with the opportunity to unlock their full potential.
