Gyasmo Lama (pictured above), a science teacher at Chiluane School in Manikharka, has taught for four years at the school. At the beginning of his time there, he received just half of his actual wage and found it increasingly difficult to remain dedicated to the school.

Now, after additional support, Gyasmo earns his full salary and is fully committed to his pupils who are noticeably getting more active and involved, and improving their exam results.

Binod Lama, 27, has been teaching at at Chiluane School in Manikharka for nine months earning his full salary.

Since receiving his complete salary, Binod has been able to spend more time at the school, organising extra curricular activities for the children. His spelling contests, quizzes and debates have proved hugely popular with the children, who are learning more and enjoying school.
