The health and well being of children is a primary concern for Childreach International. Childreach International endeavors to improve these conditions in many of its target countries, with particular focus in  rural areas.

In rural Nepal, where health care is often inaccessible and malnutrition accounts for about 55% of child deaths, Childreach International works with Dhulikhel Hospital to improve child health by providing health education in schools, running mother and child health camps and training paediatric outreach health workers.

In rural Tanzania, only 54% of the population have access to safe drinking water and only 50% of schools in Tanzania have an adequate water supply and sanitation. By building toilet facilities in primary schools Childreach International is helping to protect children from common diseases such as diarrhoea and cholera.

In rural India access to healthcare is also very poor and Childreach International works with Sewa Rural as they organise health camps, health awareness training and offer nutrition education for  children.
