A very warm hello from Childreach International.
In keeping with the season of goodwill we thought that
there is no better time to launch our new quarterly e-newsletter
highlighting the year-round commitment of our volunteers, fundraisers,
community partners and staff, helping over 25,000 children worldwide to
reach their full potential. None of this would have been possible without you,
so I would like to thank everyone that has supported us.
Season’s Greetings and a Happy New Year from all of the team!

All Eyes on the Boys in Africa
The dizzying heights of Morocco’s Atlas Mountains,
camel trekking in the Western Sahara, and an appearance on Ghana’s
equivalent of the Jonathon Ross show; these are just a few of
the experiences that Alan Wells and Ian Mowbray Williams have
savoured during Eye on Africa. This year two ambitious and
determined graduates are raising £10,000 for Childreach International,
venturing across the vast and breathtaking expanse of the African continent,
on a two wheeled journey which will “undoubtedly become one of the greatest
road trips of their lives” Follow their journey here.

A sprinkle of Sage
Dedication, a lot of hard graft, and yaks milk tea at sunset
was all Sage volunteers needed to complete the renovation work
at Yangrima School, Nepal. This winter, a strategic partnership
between Childreach International and Sage (UK) Limited has
transformed the school from the war torn ruins it once was,
giving children in the Nepalese district of Sinhupalchok back
their right education. Read more.

Childreach is growing
Childreach International has spread its roots across Africa.
In April 2009, we proudly opened our Tanzanian office, an exciting
development which was closely followed by the inauguration of the
Ghanaian office in June. Our rapid growth is advancing the effectiveness
of our work toward sustainable development and increasing the number of
children breaking free from the restraints of poverty. To discover
exactly how our international offices are helping,
