In 2009, we worked with volunteers from Sage, who fundraised and grafted tirelessly to renovate the school which was forced to close by civil war 2001 (featured in the slideshow - left). Check out their slideshow tailing their time in Nepal - which was part of our Futurebuilding programme. “The kids were amazing. It was great to see the change in them from day one to the end of the project. I have to say that it’s the kids that make Futurebuilding projects so worthwhile and rewarding” said Graeme Houghton, Sage Futurebuilder. Now, one year on the school is still going strong and helping hundreds of children unlock their full potential. Just take a look at these report cards written by the teachers. The children’s determination to learn, improve, grow and better themselves is truly inspiring.
