Fancy travelling to rural Tanzania for 10 days to build a school with a local community? How about journeying to Egypt and running a marathon deep into The Valley of The Kings? All the while raising money for charity? Childreach International invites you to find out more at its first open evening on Thursday 5th August, 7-8.30 p.m, at our London office in Holborn. Come along and enjoy the sounds of Africa, with Natasha Penumuchi singing Swahili delights, watch presentations on our exciting fundraising opportunities from Richard and Kate (pictured), our corporate and community fundraisers, and meet two inspirational young stars who cycled from London to Cape Town, raising over £10,000 for Childreach International along their way. Get involved Childreach International is a multi-award winning international development organisation. We work in partnerships with local communities in the developing world to help improve children’s access to healthcare, education and human rights. Run with the Kings Futurebuilding around the world We’ll also introduce you to Futurebuilding, our award winning innovative fundraising activity. As a volunteer on a Futurebuilding Programme, you have the opportunity to play an active part in a valuable community project in a developing country. By getting involved you will get the chance to immerse yourself into the local community and see exactly how Childreach International uses its funds to help children in the developing world.
