We've been renovating schools left right and centre! For over five years now we've been renovating schools in Tanzania and have worked with local communities, fundraisers from the UK and local councils to renovate over 10 schools.
Last week we handed back our lastest renovation to the local community and children. Mgungani Primary schools underwent six months of major renovations work, repairing and rebuilding the school's classrooms and two teachers offices, toilet facilities and a kitchen with modern energy saving cookers.
The opening celebration, June 16th, was lead by the local District Comissioner and reported on by national and local press.
This was followed by the opening of Jipe Pimrary School, on the 22nd June, where all the school's classrooms have been fully renovated.
