Travelex Global Business Payments (TGBP), whose kiosks you may have seen at the airport before jetting off on holiday, has demonstrated vital support for our international development work.

Travelex, which is one of the world’s largest foreign exchange providers, has donated £750, enabling the charity and one of its project partners, Dhulikhel Hospital, to fund the provision of First Aid Kits for primary schools in remote rural districts of Nepal, as part of the Dhulikhel Hospital Outreach Project.

The money will directly provide 40 First Aid Kits and necessary training to school staff; ensuring over 10,000 children have access to basic medical treatment and first aid.

TGBP is Childreach International’s chosen partner for all of their foreign exchange needs. The charity uses Travelex’s international payments network as a timely and cost-effective way to ensure their funds reach project partners and international offices.

Travelex’s generous donation has been made in honour of Childreach International’s first Fundraising Ball, “To Children, With Love”, which raised thousands of pounds for the charity’s programmes and projects, and celebrated the help that Childreach and our supporters are providing to over 25,000 children worldwide.
