David Lammy, UK Minister of State for Higher Education has invited Childreach International Ghana to lunch, to discuss the current issues and challenges surrounding higher education in Ghana.

The lunch, which will take place today in Ghana in association with DFID and the British Council, demonstrates how Childreach International is increasingly becoming recognised as a leading provider of community-based sustainable education projects, helping children to unlock their full potential.

Fred Osarfo, our Ghana Country Director, is attending the lunch and will be discussing ways to maximise the effectiveness of our development projects; as well as how local, national and international organisations can enhance cooperation to improve the efficiency and reach of educational support structures.

We’ll further report on the outcomes of the lunch after having spoken to Fred.
