Childreach Nepal flying high with more positive partnerships Print E-mail

Yeti_AirlinesChildreach Nepal has made yet more positive steps since their recent opening in April. The Nepalese team have managed to partner with airline, Tara Air, and one of Nepal’s largest industrial companies, Panchakanya.

These developments come just weeks after Childreach Nepal united with top Nepali pop star, Raju Lama and the Mongolian Heart.

Tshering Lama, Childreach Nepal Country Director, explains –

“The partnership with the airline  and Panchakanya will provide Childreach Nepal with cheaper resources that can be used to aid our rapidly growing fundraising and
23programme
work”.

Benefitting our projects

Among many agreements, Tara Air (pictured signing an agreement with Tshering - top left), has commited to discounted flight rates for all national and international staff, saving thousands of pounds in flight costs per year for Childreach International.

Tara Air, who's domestic flights help transport volunteers to and from Challenge Event sites in the Himalayas, will also ferry vital goods to our project sites in remote locations.

Panchakanya, one of Nepal’s largest industrial companies, will provide Childreach Nepal with many of the materials needed to complete our projects, including our “school improvements programme” which has seen UK volunteers help re-build Yangrima School which was re-opened this spring (pictured left) after closure due to the destructive civil war which ended in 2001.

Get involved

To get involved in a “school improvement programme” why not join a Futurebuilding programme and help change the lives of hundreds of children with improved education.

Or why not journey to the Himalayas and challenge yourself to take part in Expedition Everest while raising money for our projects in Nepal.
