As part of our Pound Against Poverty appeal, we'd love you to donate one pound to our Transforming Schools Fund.
One pound may not seem much, but if all our supporters donate a Pound Against Poverty, we'll raise £30,000 to transform schools across Tanzania.
So far we've renovated 18 schools across Tanzania and we've set up our Transforming Schools Fund to continue this work over the coming year.

Success Story: Jipe Primary School, Tanzania
Jipe Primary School in Tanzania is a recent example of our successful School Improvement Programme. Before, all of the school’s classrooms were worn down and the school was dusty. Many of the children were suffering from severe chest problems making it difficult for the children to learn.
All of the school’s classrooms were renovated and the school was re-opened in July 2011. The changes to the school have had a massive effect on the children in the Jipe community, who are now able to study in a safe and clean environment.
